THE YOGA GALLERY SAN SEBASTIAN FEST 2026

    7 - 9 May 2026 - San Sebastian, Spain

Stewart is teaching several classes at San Sebastian Yoga Festival!

Introducing the first edition of The Yoga Gallery San Sebastian Fest — a festival that doesn’t make empty promises. It comes to celebrate intuition as a fundamental part of instinct, of what is pure and transformative.
Listening to the body and the heart is not a trend—it’s an act of rebellion. It’s about cutting through the noise, opening to life in its unfiltered form, embracing raw truth, and living with a purpose that sets your soul on fire. That allows for commitment to life and to the world.

Over 50 hours of practice, with more than 10 teachers and artists guiding us on a journey featuring yoga āsana sessions, meditation, breathwork, kīrtan, live concerts, and inspiring talks — all within the unique setting of Palacio Miramar, at the foot of the legendary La Concha beach.

  • THE PAÑCA MAYA KOŚA

    THE PAÑCA MAYA KOŚA

    23 + 24 May 2026 - Milan, Italy

Join us in Milan this May for two special days with Stewart to explore the concept of the five subtle bodies. In yoga philosophy, these are the kośas: the energetic layers that enfold our physical, human form.

The pañca maya kośa remind us that we are not merely body or mind. Through vigorous and rigorous somatic abhyāsaāsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra, and meditation — the practice works across all five levels, fostering gradual integration and the recognition of our most intimate nature.

These will be days of intense, deeply transformative work: a rare opportunity to explore the five kośas under Stewart's expert guidance, learning to recognise and inhabit each layer more fully.

The pañcamayakośa describe the human being as composed of five "sheaths" or layers which, from the most dense to the most subtle, enfold the deep Self:

Annamaya kośa — the physical body, made of food; that which we see and touch, sustained by nourishment and movement.

Prāṇamaya kośa — the body of vital energy (prāṇa), expressed primarily through the breath and governing physiological functions.

Manomaya kośa — the sheath of the sensory mind: thoughts, emotions, and reactions to external stimuli.

Vijñānamaya kośa — the layer of intellect and discriminating awareness, encompassing deep beliefs and the capacity for understanding.

Ānandamaya kośa — the "body" of bliss; the subtlest level, linked to the deep Self and an experience of unconditional peace and joy.

  • Tristhāna - the foundation and heart of Vinyasa (Experienced)

Tristhāna - the foundation and heart of Vinyasa (Experienced)

    27 June 2026 - Levenshulme, UK

Stewart has been teaching Vinyasa Krama for over 25 years and has seen it develop to become the most popular and practised Yoga in the world today. As the majority of taught classes globally today are sequenced classes it is important to look deeper at the heart of the practice.

This practice will explore the three practical places that are central to the concept of how the “three become one” in the practice of Vinyasa Krama.

This ‘joining or linking mechanism” and the concentration required to one pointedly place the body into a special place step by step is an ideal form of karma. This process of bodily change while practising ekā-gratā (single pointed intention) is the gateway to a mind which was free from fluctuation. Subsequently, it possible to establish a conscious intention and remain aligned to it without distraction and it becomes effortless, truthful and graceful while you experience Vinyāsa.

The essence of Vinyāsa is the ability to perceive changes within a sequence physically, mentally and spiritually when you make conscious movements connected to breath and intention. Therefore, you gain the ability to be free from the illusion of duality by realising changes from moment to moment and experiencing the present and the true self.
